Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions page! Here, you'll find answers to common queries about our centre. We aim to provide clear and helpful information to guide you through our programs, policies, and what you can expect for your child. If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us on 02 6254 6020. We're here to help and look forward to welcoming you and your child to our centre.

Enrolment

  • We currently have limited openings for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Please submit an enquiry online or call us on 02 6254 6020 to book a tour and secure a place for your child.

  • We do not have an enrolment fee, but families are required to pay a $250 non-refundable fee as an advance payment to secure a place, with those funds attributed to the family’s account to be used once the booking starts.

  • While there is no minimum attendance requirement, we recommend enrolling for at least two consecutive days per week. This helps children settle in quicker and supports a strong sense of security and routine, compared to attending just one day a week.

  • To enquire about enroling your child, please complete our online enquiry form and our team will contact you to discuss your needs, answer any questions, and arrange a tour of our centre. You can also reach us directly at 02 6254 6020.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) & Fees

  • Child Care Subsidy, also called CCS, is a way the Australian Government provides financial assistance to families to help cover the cost of approved child care.

  • Our service is an Australian Government-approved child care provider, so if Centrelink finds you eligible, you will receive CCS for your child’s enrolment.

For forms for your Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) visit www.centrelink.gov.au
and for information for your Child Care Subsidy visit www.humanservices.gov.au

  • CCS is based on means-testing and depends on your circumstances. Centrelink determines your eligibility by considering your family’s income, the number of children you have in care and their ages, the hours worked by both parents/guardians, and other activities such as volunteer work.

For example, if you earn less than $85,279, you could be eligible for a subsidy of 90%. This will go down by 1% for each $5,000 of income your family earns above $85,279.

From 8 July 2025, the income limit for the CCS has increased to $535,279 – so if you were not eligible for CCS previously, you may be now. If this is you, we recommend you speak with Centrelink and have your eligibility assessed.

  • To get CCS, you must:

    • Use an approved child care service

    • Be responsible for paying the child care fees

    • Meet the residency and immunisations requirements

    • Care for a child 13 or younger not attending secondary school unless an exemption applies

We encourage you to read the information on the Services Australia page ‘Who can get it‘ for further guidance.

  • You can claim CCS using your Centrelink online account through myGov. Ensure your Centrelink online account is linked to your myGov account.

  • Our daily fees are competitive and the final parent gap fee depends on a range of factors including CCS eligibility, the age group, days of attendance and other subsidy entitlements. Once we have all these details, we can provide you with a more accurate estimate of your out of pocket fees prior to enrolment.

Our Program

  • Yes, our curriculum is aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), ensuring that your child meets the developmental milestones expected in Australian early education.

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is an Australian national early childhood education curriculum. It sets standards for the educational outcomes and developmental stages children should achieve before they begin primary school.

  • Early childhood education is important because it lays the foundation for a child's future development and success. During the first five years of life, a child’s brain undergoes rapid growth, with over 90% of brain development occurring during this period. High-quality early education nurtures this growth, helping children develop essential cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
