Why Choose Nan’s Early Learning Centre?
Our educators assist children to become successful learners by encouraging their play-based learning and offering developmental opportunities across a range of activities and environments. These environments provide for play areas and experiences for children to create, imagine, problem solve, explore, test, challenge themselves and create at their own pace.
Our professional team of educators engage and provoke children’s thinking by providing ideas and tools to further their interest and knowledge.
We’ve partnered with the ACT Government to to deliver the free three-year-old preschool program to provide families with up to 300 hours of free preschool per year, per child. By enrolling your child at Nan’s, you can access the quality preschool program taught by a degree qualified early childhood teacher, but with the benefits of wrap-around care to suit parental schedules.
At Nan’s we also provide high quality meals using fresh produce and ingredients. Our diverse meal options are thoughtfully designed to meet the nutritional needs of children during their time at the centre. We cater to all allergies, food intolerances and cultural requirements.
Our mealtimes are relaxed, enjoyable experiences and the aroma of foods from all around the world coming from the kitchen provides a welcoming, homelike environment. Our kitchen provides for children with allergies and cultural requirements as directed by medical experts and families.
Families are welcome to become involved in the program and encouraged to share their culture and home language with the children at Nan’s. Our families represent diverse nationalities and this brings a richness to the Nan’s community. All children are encouraged to support each child’s communication methods.
A seamless and calm transition between the centre and home is a result of families and our team working collaboratively to ensure that children are happy and feel secure.
